The MHS Alumni Foundation relies on the public to submit nominations of worthy individuals for the Committee to consider for induction. Please take some time to let us know who you think should be inducted to the St. Marys Memorial High School Alumni Foundation Hall of Fame and why. The Alumni Foundation can only consider a person for induction if their name has been submitted to the committee. The Committee does not independently nominate or select individuals on its own.
Hall of Fame and Eligibility:
Academic/Professional Achievement: The inductee(s) shall be a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School who has distinguished him/herself for his/her outstanding academic or professional achievement. Any person nominated for this hall of fame must be nominated at least four years post – graduation from St. Marys Memorial High School.
Athletic Achievement: A graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School or an MHS athletic team who/which has distinguished him/herself/itself for their outstanding athletic endeavors while attending Memorial High School, a college or university, or in professional athletics. Any person nominated for this hall of fame must be nominated at least four years post – graduation from St. Marys Memorial High School.
Service to St. Marys City Schools: A person who has distinguished him/herself by their superior service to the St. Marys City Schools in any capacity. A person nominated for this honor need not have attended nor graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School.
Military Service to Country:
A person who attended and/or graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School, who has distinguished him/herself by their superior military service to the United States, and who was honorably discharged, retired from said service, or if applicable, killed in action in the line of duty.
Nominee must demonstrate good character and be in good standing with the community.
